Story
In World War I, a youthful Hercule Poirot devises a fruitful methodology to propel his Belgian infantry organization, yet a booby trap damages his face. His life partner, nurture Katherine, doesn't pull back, yet lets him know he will grow a mustache to conceal his scars.
In 1937, at a London club, Poirot watches blues vocalist Salome Otterbourne perform and sees Jacqueline "Jackie" de Bellefort moving energetically with her life partner Simon Doyle. Jackie's cherished, lifelong companion, beneficiary Linnet Ridgeway, enters, and is acquainted with Simon.
A month and a half later, in Egypt, Poirot experiences his companion Bouc and Bouc's mom, Euphemia, a painter. Bouc welcomes Poirot to go along with them at the inn to praise the wedding of an amazing couple - Linnet and Simon. Others join their special night trip: Linnet's servant Louise Bourget; Salome and her niece/chief Rosalie, Linnet's schoolfriend; Linnet's guardian Marie Van Schuyler with her attendant Mrs. Bowers; Linnet's cousin Andrew Katchadourian, who deals with her records; and specialist Linus Windlesham. Linnet asks Poirot for security from the over the top Jackie, who has followed them to Egypt; he can't prevent Jackie, who shows him she conveys a firearm.
To get away from Jackie, the gathering sheets the voyage transport S.S. Karnak. Linnet tells Poirot she has zero faith in her visitors. During an outing to Abu Simbel, Bouc admits that he is dating Rosalie, regardless of his mom's objection; Poirot is keen on Salome. After a stone almost smashes Linnet and Simon, the visitors return to the Karnak to find Jackie has boarded. Poirot, defeat by champagne, trusts to Jackie that he disavowed sentiment after Katherine passed on in a mortar blast. Linnet heads to sleep and Simon defies Jackie, who shoots him in the leg and endeavors to shoot herself. Rosalie and Bouc mediate. They carry Jackie to Mrs. Bowers, while Windlesham treats Simon. The next morning, Louise finds Linnet has been shot in the head, and her important accessory has been taken.
Poirot, helped by Simon and Bouc, cross examines the visitors, who each store up resentment toward Linnet or would remain to acquire something from her demise:

Bouc saw Louise's homicide, yet before he can uncover the executioner, he is shot dead; Poirot pursues the executioner, however just tracks down the neglected firearm.
